GTBank rewards customers in its GTCrea8 e-savers promo - To give away a Mini Cooper Convertible Car

In keeping with its innovative and youthful disposition, Guaranty Trust Bank plc recently commenced a loyalty reward scheme for holders of its trendy, card-based interest bearing undergraduate account called GTCrea8 e-savers Account. The essence of the promo is to promote both a savings culture and an increased adoption of the use of alternate banking channels amongst Nigerian students.

The Bank rewards account holders with cool gifts such as Blackberry phones, ipods, laptops, Samsung Galaxy tab, LED TV and mini fridges in its monthly zonal draws. The Bank is also organizing several ongoing events on campuses across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria where students will have the opportunity of winning Nokia phones instantly over a six month period. The star prize of a brand new mini cooper convertible car will be won by one of the e-savers at the grand finale of the raffle draw in September 2013.

All that is required to participate and benefit from this bonanza is for the students in tertiary institutions to open a GTCrea8 e-savers account. In addition, they are required to conduct a minimum of three transactions per month on alternate banking channels such as ATM, POS and Internet Banking to qualify for the monthly draws and maintain a minimum account balance of N5,000.00 for six consecutive months to qualify for the grand finale.

Commenting on the campaign, the Managing Director and CEO of Guaranty Trust Bank plc, Mr. Segun Agbaje said that the Bank designed the product to suit the online and electronically driven lifestyle of Nigerian post secondary students. He further stated that the gesture is in line with the Bank’s support for education, financial discipline and the continuous use of innovation to drive enriching customer experience.

Guaranty Trust Bank has created platform for an ongoing conversation for its e-savers with the creation of a microsite, www.gtbank.com/gtcrea8. The Bank also has a versatile social media presence to continuously appeal to this burgeoning section of its market on facebook, www.facebook.com/gtbank , Twitter, @gtbank and its upcoming social banking project.

Guaranty Trust Bank was established in 1990 and presently operates from over 200 offices in Nigeria and banking subsidiaries in Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire and the United Kingdom.
