CIB came as finalist for two international business continuity awards
In recognition of CIB’s Business Continuity & Crisis Management efforts during 2013 & 2014, CIB came as Finalist for two of the most globally-recognized Business Continuity & Crisis Management awards – “Most Effective Recovery of the Year” and “Business Continuity Team of the Year”.
These awards are offered by BCI (Business Continuity Institute) which is one of the leading certification bodies in Business Continuity & disaster recovery planning, established in the United Kingdom in 1994 to enable individual members to obtain guidance and support from fellow business continuity practitioners. The BCI currently has members in 100 countries active in approximately 2500 organizations in both private and public sectors, the wider role of the BCI is to promote the highest standards of professional competence and commercial ethics in the provision and maintenance of business continuity planning and services. The BCI is the world’s most eminent Business Continuity Management (BCM) institute and its name is instantly recognized as standing for best practice and a high level of professionalism.
The nomination came in recognition of CIB’s response towards multiple adversities faced during 2013 & 2014 resulting from the unstable political situation and its consequences.
