[Ghana] Vodafone Wholesale launches loyalty programme

In line with an inherent aspiration of building lasting relationships with customers, Vodafone Wholesale Ghana has launched a Loyalty programme with attractive benefits for its customers across the continent.

The Loyalty programme comes with a card, which will be operational in a few weeks, and will affords customers the ability to get up to 20 percent off over 600 priority airport lounges worldwide and up to 11 per cent off over 200,000 hotels worldwide. The card also ensures that customers can enjoy up to 20% off selected car rentals worldwide and so much more.

As the world continues to transform led by digitisation, businesses have increasingly found loyalty programmes as crucial in gaining insights into the habits of customers in order to formulate better ways of meeting their needs.

Commenting on the initiative at a ceremony to award 25 of its customers, Julius Owusu-Kyerematen, Managing Director of Vodafone Wholesale Ghana said:

“This initiative is part of a concerted effort to enhance the experience for our customers. We live in a world that believes in the service-dominant logic of doing business and we find the loyalty scheme as very timely. Despite the major economic challenges of 2014, we remained resilient as a business and will continue to work hard to deliver effective services for you our cherished customers; because without you we have no business”.

In a speech read on his behalf, Honourable Edward Omane-Boamah, Minister for Communications said:

“As a government with a commitment to the growth of the ICT sector, you can be sure that we will not renege on our mandate to ensure the entire country is connected. I want to also commend Vodafone for their leadership in innovation; this has contributed to the transformation of the telecoms industry”.

The Awards ceremony, which took place at the Labadi Beach Hotel, brought together mobile network operators, Internet service providers and government agencies.
