Sharp Unveils New Digital Printing Colour Technology in Nigeria

Sharp Corporation has launched the latest of its new age digital printing colour machines, known as MX-7500 and 6500N pro-digital printing technology into the Nigeria market.

Addressing journalists after a road show of its various machines exhibition weekend in Abuja, the Country Head of Altech Sfico Ltd., Mr. Ganta Balraj, whose company is responsible for marketing the brands in Nigeria, said the innovative 75PM/65PPM pro-digital colour press is fully integrated solution for business looking to produce professional jobs.

Driven by the growing demand of productivity, colour printing and in-house print production in the country, he said, the company was excited to showcase its latest technology in the market. "Sharp has been in the market for  a long time, In fact statistically, if you take the if you take the IDC report, Sharp enjoys the number position in terms of numbers across Africa and particularly in Nigeria we have minimum market share of 45 percent." he said.

According to him, the new multi-function printer incorporates advanced technology, integrated network scanning and flexible configurations that expedites and streamlines workflow. He said with selected options, the machine has the capacity to for a print runoff 13,500 sheets.

Balraj said: "The entire printing architecture is equipped with a user friendly 15.4 inch colour LCD touch screen panel, a unique Sharp specialty." He added, that the ultra-versatile pro digital colour press offers a  full  suite of paper feed and professional quality in line finishing options, such as stapling, punching, edge-edge printing, full bleed booklet making and variety of fold options.

Apart from the pro-digital colour machine, also on displays is its colour range of multi-function printers known as MX-3640ON/MX-4140/MX-5140N and MX-7040 which boast of the simplicity of touch screen menu navigation with robust multi-tasking workflow features that can elevate office productivity to a new level.
